Abstract:
The embodiments of the application disclose a method and device implementing network access. The method comprises: performing source address translation on a source address of a received first Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) packet to generate a network maintaining address at a customer-side translator, and recording a correspondence between the IPv4 address and the network maintaining address; translating the first IPv4 packet having the source address of the network maintaining address to be a first Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) packet; and transmitting the first IPv6 packet to a network-side translator.
