Abstract:
The present invention provides is a method and device for indicating an undesired working channel. The method comprises: determining an undesired working channel, the undesired working channel being a channel that is not desired to work due to intermodulation distortion; generating target indication information used for indicating the undesired working channel; and sending the target indication information to an access point (AP), so that the AP determines the undesired working channel indicated by an MBO-STA according to the target indication information. In the present invention, the MBO-STA can precisely indicate a channel that is not desired to work due to intermodulation distortion to the AP, so that the AP can avoid configuring the undesired working channel during configuration a working channel for the MBO-STA, thereby avoiding the adverse effect caused by intermodulation distortion, and improving the channel utilization of the MBO-STA.
