Abstract:
Provided are a method and a device for localized installation of an application on an Android device. The method comprises: acquiring an application ID of an application confirmed for installation on the Android device, and a model number of the Android device; on the basis of the application ID and the model number, querying whether a corresponding localized installation file is present; responding to the presence of the corresponding localized installation file by sending to the Android device the corresponding localized installation file so as to complete installation of the application. The present method and device enables faster application installation on an Android device.
