Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and a device for managing a directory and relate to the storage field. The method is easy to implement and efficient, in which a first terminal belongs to a first user, a second terminal belongs to a second user, a directory of the first terminal stores an identifier of a first contact, and a directory of the second terminal stores an identifier of the first user. The method comprises: the second terminal receiving contact information transmitted by the first terminal, the contact information comprising the identifier of the first contact and a social relation between the first user and the first contact; the second terminal determining, according to the social relation between the first contact and the first user and a social relation between the first user and the second user, a social relation between the first contact and the second user; and the second terminal storing the identifier of the first contact and the social relation between the first contact and the second user.
