Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a method and device for moving items on an online exchange platform under a structure of a category system. The method comprises: receiving an item moving rule from the online exchange platform; generating, according to the item moving rule, an item information search task for searching for information of an item satisfying conditions specified in the item moving rule; transmitting the item information search task to a distributed computing platform; receiving information of the item found by the distributed computing platform satisfying the conditions specified in the item moving rule; returning the received information of the item to the online exchange platform, such that the online exchange platform modifies a belonging category and attribute of the item according to the received information of the item in a way specified in the item moving rule for modifying the belonging category and attribute. The technical solution according to the present application increases the speed and efficiency of moving the items and does not affect the support of an item information database to normal operations.
