Abstract:

Disclosed are a method and device for sharing hotspots. The method applied to a first device to share hotspots comprises: configuring hotspot connection information, performing identity authentication on a second device requesting to use the hotspot, and when the identity authentication is passed, sending the hotspot connection information to the second device, starting a hotspot mode, and performing hotspot sharing; and the second device, using the hotspot, requesting the first device to perform identity authentication on the second device, and when the identity authentication is passed, acquiring the hotspot connection information sent by the first device, scanning surrounding hotspots, and accomplishing hotspot connection based on the hotspot connection information.
