Abstract:

Provided in embodiments of the present invention are a method, device, and equipment for processing a resource pool. The method comprises: acquiring a service template of a service to be issued and determining, on the basis of the service template, first service level information corresponding to the service to be issued; determining whether service level information matching the service template is present on a management server; if not, then creating a new storage device on the basis of the first service level information and of a preset storage infrastructure; creating a new virtual resource pool on the basis of the new storage device, and associating a new SLA to the new virtual resource pool. The method of the present invention allows, when the service to be issued needs to be isolated from a physical pool currently used by an existing service, the management server to create for the service to be issued a virtual pool occupying exclusively a physical pool of a certain storage device, as such, even when a physical pool for other virtual pools on the management server is damaged, data operation of the service to be issued remains unaffected, thus greatly increasing data isolation.
