Abstract:

Provided in the embodiments of the present application is a method for managing a network slice instance, comprising: a network manager sending a first configuration request to a first network element manager, the configuration request comprising one or more of the following: description information of a second network slice instance subnet, description information of a network slice instance to be created and description information of a first network slice instance subnet; receiving a configuration response message sent by the first network element manager; sending an association request to a second network element manager, the association request comprising description information of the network slice instance to be created; and receiving an association response message sent by the second network element manager, wherein the association response message is used for indicating that the second network slice instance subnet has served the network slice instance to be created, and network slice instance formation is completed. By means of said method for managing a network slice instance, the association of at least two network slice instance subnets may be carried out so as to form a complete network slice instance.
