Abstract:

The embodiment of the invention provides a method, a device and a terminal for executing a hotpatch, which can solve the problem of terminal black screen and application stuck caused by long compile time, and the resulted reduced user experience. The method of performing the hotpatch comprises: the terminal downloads the hotpatch of the application; the terminal loads, compiles, and runs the hotpatch, and the compilation is to complete the hotpatch format conversion in a first compilation mode. If the application is not running in the foreground, and the terminal runs the hotpatch according to the first compiling mode, the terminal compiles the hotpatch again, and the compilation is to complete the format conversion of the hotpatch by using a second compiling mode. The embodiments of the present invention are applicable to a terminal.
