Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for transporting refuse, such as domestic refuse, bulky refuse, industrial refuse, general waste or similar, from residential areas to a central treatment plant (23), in particular an incineration, sorting and composting plant or similar. According to said method, the refuse is collected at collection points (1, 2, 4) and is transported in sealed containers (10, 12, 13) via separate transport routes (5, 6, 7), which form a self-contained transport system, to a central location (23), at or in which it is treated.
