Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise a battery, at least one processor, and a memory, wherein the memory stores instructions which, when executed, cause the at least one processor to: identify the remaining capacity of the battery; if the identified remaining capacity of the battery is less than/equal to a threshold remaining capacity, output information related to the remaining capacity of the battery; and if the identified remaining capacity is not less than/equal to the threshold remaining capacity, output information related to an abnormal state of the battery on the basis of a voltage or a resistance value of the battery during charging or discharging of the battery. Other embodiments are possible.
