Abstract:
In a fluidized bed dryer (1) having a drying container (2) which has a horizontal centre longitudinal axis and is subdivided into a bottom gas distribution space (21) and a top material space (22) by a screening bottom (20) permeable to gas and impermeable to material, provision is made for the drying container (2) and/or its screening bottom (20), before and/or during the drying operation, to be set at least intermittently in a pendulous oscillating movement after being fed with a charge of material to be dried, and for drying gas to be fed to the gas distribution space (21) through at least two gas inlets (23 and 23') arranged at a distance from one another. The invention also relates to a fluidized bed dryer (1).
