Abstract:
A method for enabling mature Bombyx mori to cocoon by means of a new cocooning tool. The method comprises the basic steps of: allowing mature Bombyx mori to climb into a grid cocooning frame during cocooning, wherein the urine of the mature Bombyx mori in the grid cocooning frame is stored in urine accumulation grooves (3) of horizontal baffles (1), and the fluidity of air is increased by means of ventilation ditches (4) of vertical baffles (2) to blow on the urine of the mature Bombyx mori stored in the urine accumulation grooves (3) until dry; and allowing the mature Bombyx mori to complete cocooning in the new cocooning tool. The method can meet the physiological needs of the cocooning of Bombyx mori and avoid the occurrence of abnormal silkworm cocoons such as double palace silkworms due to the excessive density of Bombyx mori, provides a relatively dry cocooning environment to improve the reelability of silkworm cocoons, and can avoid the production of yellow spotted cocoons and make Bombyx mori more stable and less likely to slip in the grid cocooning frame during cocooning, thereby providing broad application prospects.
