Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for estimating a state of wear of a wiper lip of a wiper blade for a wiper system of a motor vehicle, which method is implemented by a mobile communication terminal and comprises: - a step (101) of activating by communicating information to a mobile communication terminal via a human-machine interface; - a step (102) of determining a geographical position of said motor vehicle; - a step (103) of evaluating the state of wear of said wiper lip from said activation step and said geographical position; and - a step (104) of warning when the state of wear reaches a threshold level.
