Title:
METHOD FOR EXPLOITING A GAS-LIFT WELLBORE AND DEVICE FOR REALISING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2000/079096
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention pertains to the field of gas and crude oil extraction, relates to a compressor-free gas-lift extraction method and can be used in the exploitation of gas-lift wellbores mainly in the far North. Gas is supplied into the crude oil wellbore directly from the gas wellbore using a gas duct that comprises a heater provided along the length thereof. The temperature of the inner surface of the gas duct is maintained above the hydrate-formation temperature from any component of the gaseous medium within a working range of the gas parameters. The temperature of the gas before the gas flow controlling device is maintained at a level T $m(G) (T¿1? + $g(D)t) where T¿1? is the highest temperature of hydrate formation from the gas components while $g(D)t is the temperature drop at the gas flow controller. The above-mentioned thermal modes rule out all conditions of hydrate formation during the crude-oil gas-lift extraction.
