Title:
METHOD OF GENERATING ELECTRICITY BY UTILIZING BOTH SOLAR HEAT AND HEAVY OIL HEAT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1981/002042
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Method of generating electricity with high thermal efficiency improving upon conventional methods of utilizing solar heat and heavy oil heat, which comprises generating saturated water vapor (3) from water (2) heated in a solar heater (1), passing saturated water vapor (3) through a first heating tube (21) immersed in a first solution (11) to form a first super-heated vapor, passing this first super-heated vapor through a second heating tube (22) immersed in second solution (12) to form a second super-heated vapor, passing this second super-heated vapor through a third heating tube (23) immersed in third solution (13) to form a third super-heated vapor, heating this third super-heated vapor by means of a heavy oil heater (4) to form a heavy oil-super-heated vapor, rotating a super-heated vapor turbine (5) for driving a generator, bubbling water vapor (9) generated from a solar-heated solution (8) heated to a temperature higher than water (2) in solar heater (1) by means of a solar heater (7) through the bottom of the first solution (11), second solution (12), and third solution (13) and, at the same time, circulating the solar-heated solution (8) in the order of the third solution (13), second solution (12), and first solution (11), and transferring the heat of discharged vapor from super-heated vapor turbine (5) to water or the like by means of a heat exchanger (6).
