Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of XR, and to a method for generating evaluation information and a related device. The method is applied to a network device or a terminal, and comprises: transmitting multiple data units; obtaining evaluation parameters according to corresponding positions of an error data unit in the multiple data units; obtaining evaluation information according to the evaluation parameters; and then a network device communicating with a terminal according to the evaluation information. The evaluation parameters can represent the degree of influence of the type of an error video frame on user experience, and therefore, the evaluation information can reflect the influence of different types of video frame errors on the user experience. Hence, by means of this implementation mode, the user experience can be accurately evaluated, and thus a transmission policy can be precisely adjusted, and the communication performance is optimized.
