Abstract:
A method of generating a steel-pipe roundness prediction model according to the present invention executes, multiple times, numerical calculation including an operation condition data set as input data and roundness information of a steel pipe after a pipe expansion process as output data while changing the operation condition data set, the operation condition data set including one or more operation parameters selected from operation parameters of a U-press process and one or more operation parameters selected from operation parameters of an O-press process, to generate pairs of the operation condition data set and data of the roundness information of the steel pipe after the pipe expansion process as a plurality of pieces of training data, and uses the plurality of pieces of training data to generate by machine learning a roundness prediction model having the operation condition data set as the input data and the roundness information after the pipe expansion process as the output data.
