This invention relates to the method of constructing a dam in water conservancy works, named method of horizontal spread with inclined layer, it solves the problem in concrete dam in common use. It is characterized in that, the process includes stakingout, seam roughening, rolling concrete mixing, transporting, spread with inclined layer, seam cutting and density nucleus detecting. At the same time, the process which is composed of applying consistent rolling concrete, maintaining and low temperature protecting is used in the adjacent position, such as moulding board and structures inside the dam body etc. The excellence of the method for constructing of large size dam, is more efficient, high quality, durable and decreasing the affection of high or low temperature and wet to the minimum extent. The method of remarkable economy and benefit, and it is the first invention both in home and abroad.
