Title:
METHOD FOR IMPROVING FILM-SUBSTRATE BONDING STRENGTH OF DIAMOND-LIKE CARBON COATING ON MEDICAL METAL SURFACE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/245858
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a method for improving the film-substrate bonding strength of a diamond-like carbon coating on a medical metal surface. The method comprises the following steps: processing a pretreated substrate surface by means of ultraviolet nanosecond laser to form a texture morphology; coating the substrate surface having the texture morphology with a carbon paste prepared by mixing graphite powder and a binder, and carrying out carburizing treatment under the action of laser; and depositing a diamond-like carbon coating on the substrate surface by means of a sputtering target. In the present invention, a diamond-like carbon coating is prepared on the metal surface by means of micro-texturing/carburizing combined processing technology, the area of contact between the coating and the substrate is increased by means of the texture structure to improve the adhesion of the coating, and carbon atoms are infiltrated into the substrate surface to form a functional gradient layer, so that the substrate surface obtains physical and chemical properties matching the coating, and the physical and chemical adhesion effects between the coating and the substrate are improved; under the synergistic effect of physical bonding and chemical bonding, the bonding strength between the substrate and the coating is greatly improved.
