Abstract:
The present invention related to a method for inferring an interest of a user by using interests of social neighbors and topics of social activities sharing a social network service (SNS), and a system therefor. The method for inferring an interest of a user comprises the following steps: extracting a topic from communication logs between the user and each social neighbor; calculating a degree of association for each interest for the each social neighbor from the extracted topic; calculating a degree of familiarity of the user with the each social neighbor; calculating a correlation indicating the degree of association with the user for the each interest for the each social neighbor on the basis of the degree of association for the each interest and the degree of familiarity; and inferring the interest of the user by using the calculated correlation.
