Description:
Method for the installation of a line system, line system and supporting element suitable for the application of the method.

The present invention relates to a method for the installation, in building or in renovation, of a line system, such as a gutter system, a drain pipe system, a cable system, a pipe line system and such, which line system is comprised of line elements which are installed on the ground or work floor horizontally in a line one behind the other and connected to each other.

More in particular the invention relates to a method for the installation, in building or in renovation, of a line system in the form of a gutter system for the discharge of surface water, waste water and other liquids, which gutter system is comprised of gutter elements which are installed on the ground horizontally in a line one behind the other and connected to each other. Such gutter elements are made out of fibrous concrete or polymer concrete, have a U-shaped cross section and can be provided on top with a cover grate.

Such a method is known.

With the known method the line elements, such as for instance pipes or tubes, cables, or the gutter elements, are installed in a trench or channel provided in the ground or work floor. Prior to the application of a concrete foundation the elements are placed in the right position by means of an interweaving or a reinforcement.

Placing the elements in the right position in this manner is time-consuming and labour intensive. Often there is only little room around the element, while there is an unstable support, and while further it is difficult to secure the elements in the right position, horizontally as well as with respect to the height thereof.

It is an object of the present invention to obviate these drawbacks of the known method.

The method according to the invention to that end is characterized in that, when positioning the line elements, use is made of a supporting element which is adjustable in height, formed by a supporting part which is to be placed or fixed in or onto the ground or floor and a holder part which can be placed onto the supporting part, which holder part has a form such that this holder part can support or retain an element, whereby the supporting part is placed or fixed in or onto the ground or floor, whereby the holder part is placed onto the supporting part and is adjusted at a desired height, after which a line element is placed in the holder part.

According to a characteristic of the method a line element is formed by a gutter element, a tube or a pipe, or a cable.

According to a characteristic of the method according to the invention a concrete foundation is installed on the ground, whereby the supporting part is placed or fixed onto the concrete foundation.

In an advantageous manner according to another characteristic of the method according to the invention the bottom side of the supporting part can have the shape of a screw, by means of which the supporting part can be screwed down in the ground, and after which the holder part can be placed onto the supporting part.

According to a further characteristic of the method according to the invention use is made of a holder part which is provided with means by which a line element placed in the holder part can be fixed in the horizontal direction in a desired position.

The invention further relates to a line system, such as a gutter system, a drain pipe system, a cable system, a pipe line system and such, comprised of line elements which are installed on the ground or floor horizontally in a line one behind the other and connected to each other, characterized in that a line element is placed in a supporting element which is provided in or onto the ground, whereby a supporting element comprises a supporting part which is placed or fixed in or onto the ground and a holder part which is placed or fixed onto the supporting part in which the line element is placed or fixed, while the supporting element is provided with means by which the supporting element or a line element that is placed in the supporting element can be positioned in the vertical and/or horizontal direction. More in particular the invention relates to a line system that is formed by a gutter system for the discharge of surface water, waste water and other liquids, comprised of gutter elements which are installed on the ground or floor horizontally in a line one behind the other and connected to each other, characterized in that a gutter element is placed in a supporting element which is provided in or onto the ground, whereby a supporting element comprises a supporting part which is placed or fixed in or onto the ground and a holder part which is placed or fixed onto the supporting part in which the gutter element is placed or fixed, while the supporting element is provided with means by which the supporting element or a gutter element that is placed in the supporting element can be positioned in the vertical and/or horizontal direction.

According to a characteristic of the line system according to the invention the means by which the supporting element is adjustable in the vertical direction are formed by a pen provided at the upper side of the supporting part or the bottom side of the holder part which fits in a bush or opening provided at the bottom side of the holder part respectively the upper side ofthe supporting part. Further the pen is provided with a screw thread and the bush or opening is provided with an internal screw thread, such, that the pen can be screwed in the bush or opening, and by means of which the holder part can be fixed to the supporting part and can be screwed in the vertical direction in a desired position.

The invention further relates to a supporting element suitable for the application of the method, whereby a supporting element comprises a supporting part which is to be placed or fixed in or onto the ground and a holder part which can be placed or fixed onto the supporting part in which a line element can be placed or fixed, whereby the supporting element is provided with means by which the supporting element or a line element that is placed in the supporting element can be positioned in the vertical and/or horizontal direction.

According to a characteristic of the supporting element according to the invention the bottom side of the supporting part can have the shape of a screw by means of which the supporting part can be screwed down in the bottom or ground, and after which the holder part can be placed on the supporting part. The invention will now be described further with reference to the drawing of an example of an embodiment.

In the figure is shown a front view of a supporting element according to the invention with in it an, in itself well known, in cross-section U-shaped, gutter element such as is used in the installation of a gutter system made up of gutter elements which are placed onto the ground horizontally in a line one behind the other and connected to each other.

The supporting element 1 comprises a supporting part 4 which is placed on the bottom 2 of a trench 3 and a holder part 5 which is placed on the supporting part 4. As is shown in the drawing a gutter element 6 is placed in the holder part 5. In this example of an embodiment the supporting part 4 is fixed on the ground 2 by means of screws 7. It is also possible (not shown in the drawing) that the bottom side of the supporting part has the shape of a screw by means of which it can be screwed down in the bottom. The holder part 5 at its bottom side is provided with a pen 8 having a screw thread which fits in a bush 9 having an internal screw thread provided at the upper side of the supporting part 4 . By means of this the holder part 5 can be screwed onto the supporting part 4.

According to the invention the supporting part 4 is mounted on the bottom 2 of the trench 3. After this a reinforcement is mounted for a concrete foundation. The holder part 5 is screwed onto the supporting part 4. By means of this screwing the holder part 5 can be positioned at the correct height. In the example of an embodiment shown the holder part has the shape of a U-profile. The gutter element 6 can be moved in the holder part 5 in the horizontal direction and can be fixed in a certain position by means of screws 10 which protrude through openings 11 having an internal screw thread provided in the opposite flanges 12 of the U-profile 5. By loosening and tightening the screws 10 the space 13 in between the parallel flanges can be made larger respectively smaller, in such a way that a gutter element 6 present in the U-profile 5 can be positioned and fixed. With the invention a very simple manner is obtained for the installation of a line system. The fastening of the supporting part on a work floor, such as a concrete foundation, or an earth bottom, is very simple. The reinforcement can be installed in an easy manner. The gutter elements can easily be positioned at the correct height and direction. The pouring in of the gutter is simplified. Shores around the gutter are not necessary. The gutter elements are retained in the correct position by means of the supporting elements. With the invention a reduction in labour is obtained , as well as with regard to the positioning of the gutters and the mounting of the reinforcement as with regard to the pouring in with concrete.

The invention is not limited to the example of an embodiment shown here. Also possible is a supporting element whereby the supporting part and the holder part cannot be disconnected but are still adjustable in height relative to each other. Further the system can be applied to many kinds of line systems which can be installed at diverse places, such as in the ground, in or on a foundation, or at other places in a building, among which floors in flats.
