Abstract:
A method of forming a material sheet into a cylindrical body for making a paper container having a thermoplastic resin layer at the innermost part, characterized in that: the material sheet is composed of a laminated structure including at least a paper sheet and said thermoplastic resin layer as the innermost layer of said container; said thermoplastic resin layer comprises such materials as selected from polyester and ethylene. vinylalcohol copolymer; one end of the material sheet is folded; said folded end and the thermoplastic resin layer on the other end are stacked together for thermoplastic resin-to-thermoplastic resin sealing; and the sealing is made with a pressure applied subsequent to softening or melting of said thermoplastic resin on application of carbonic acid gas laser.
