Abstract:
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method in which a UE performs communication. The method comprises the steps of: performing a cell measurement in an idle mode or inactive mode; performing RRC state shifting from the idle mode or the inactive mode; receiving a request for a result of the cell measurement from a base station; and reporting the result of the cell measurement to the base station, wherein, on the basis that a time difference between a timepoint at which the result of the cell measurement is reported and a timepoint at which the cell measurement is performed exceeds a time threshold, the UE skips reporting the result of the cell measurement.
