Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a display device with which it is possible to alleviate the occurrence of electrical discharge damage even when using a large insulation substrate. The method of manufacturing the display device according to the present invention comprises the steps of: forming a wiring layer comprising a short circuit wire (72), a first wire (24) which extends in one direction, a second wire (40) which extends alongside the first wire, a first connection part (77) which connects the first wire and the short circuit wire, and a second connection part which connects at least either of the short circuit wire or the first wire with the second wire; forming a first insulation film; patterning the first insulation film, forming a hole (68), a first contact hole, and a second contact hole; forming a second conducting film; and forming a connecting wire and breaking the second connection part which is exposed from the hole (68).
