The present invention provides a method for manufacturing electrodes, the method comprising the steps of: (i) coating at least one surface of a metal sheet with an electrode mixture so that an n (n≥2) number of electrode mixture coating layer lines are formed such that the electrode mixture coating layer lines are parallel to a first direction, and an uncoated portion is formed therebetween; (ii) consecutively rolling the metal sheet from the first electrode mixture coating layer line to the nth electrode mixture coating layer line by using a roller rotating in a second direction which is a direction perpendicular to the first direction; (iii) manufacturing electrode plate base materials having an n number of electrode mixture coating layers formed thereon by slitting the rolled metal sheet at least twice in the second direction; and (iv) obtaining an n number of individual electrodes by cutting, in the first direction, each of the electrode plate base materials.
