Abstract:

This method for manufacturing a machine component has a step wherein the post-thermal-processing strength is estimated for the intermediate form of a base material after any mechanical processing step, and a step wherein the estimated strength is compared with a reference strength that is required for the final form, with the thermal processing of the base material being performed after the aforementioned mechanical processing step on the basis of the comparison result.
