Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a solar cell in which it is possible to provide a long cutting line that is continuous along the direction of flow of a substrate and to suppress the occurrence of defects caused by interruption of the cutting line. The present invention is a method for manufacturing a solar cell, the method having: a step (1) for forming a lower electrode on a long and narrow substrate, performing a cutting process on the lower electrode, and providing a cutting line along the direction of flow of the substrate; a step (2) for forming a photoelectric conversion layer on the lower electrode to which the cutting line was provided, performing a cutting process on the photoelectric conversion layer, and providing a cutting line along the direction of flow of the substrate; and a step (3) for forming an upper electrode on the photoelectric conversion layer to which the cutting line was provided, performing a cutting process on the upper electrode, and providing a cutting line along the direction of flow of the substrate. The cutting process in at least one step from among steps (1) to (3) has a step (a) for providing a first cutting line, a step (b) for providing a second cutting line, and a step (c) for providing a third cutting line.
