Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a water-based pigment dispersion having a kneading step for kneading a mixture containing a quinacridone pigment (a), pigment derivative (b), organic polymer compound having an anionic group (c), basic compound (d), and acetylene glycol surfactant (e) by a closed-system kneading machine and producing a pigment kneaded product having a solids content ratio of 50-80 mass%, and a step for adding an aqueous vehicle to the pigment kneaded product to dilute the product; and a method for producing a water-based ink for ink jet printing having a step for diluting the water-based pigment dispersion obtained as described above by an aqueous vehicle.
