A method of manufacturing wearing articles, capable of manufacturing the wearing articles without causing a variation in the dimensions of the products and capable of easily manufacturing the wearing articles. In first and second steps (A, B), a first web (60) is conveyed in the machine direction (MD) and cut along a first imaginary centerline (r-r). In third to fifth steps (C-E), first sheets (61) are separated from each other in the crossing direction (CD), joining means (38) are applied to the first sheets (61), and openings (64) are formed in the first sheets (61). In sixth and seventh steps (F, G), a second web (70) is conveyed in the machine direction (MD), cut along a second imaginary line (s-s), and separated in the crossing direction (CD). In eighth and ninth steps (H, I), second sheets (71) are joined to the first sheets (61) and auxiliary cuff reinforcement members (39) are attached along bending lines (37). In tenth and eleventh steps (J, K), cuff members (31) are folded along the bending lines (37), which are aligned with the third imaginary centerline (t-t), and attached to a chassis (20).
