Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for measuring combustible carbon content of boiler ash. The method comprises: measuring oxygen consumption for aerobic combustion of boiler ash, and calculating the absolute value of the combustible carbon content of the boiler ash from the total oxygen consumption for combustion of total combustible carbon, wherein the total oxygen consumption is obtained by combusting and pyrolyzing the boiler ash in a thermogravimetric-mass spectrometry device, and subtracting the sum of mass loss rates from the sum of mass flow rates of evolved gases. The present invention accurately measures the combustible carbon content by accurately measuring the mass flow rates of gases in combination with the dynamic data of mass loss. The measurement method is applicable to all boiler ash, and measurement results of different types of ash can be compared.
