Abstract:
A method measuring read/write head offset-parameter-table of hard disk magnetic head, includes the following steps: A: obtaining read/write head offset parameters of at least 2 magnetic tracks on hard disk by measurement. B: according to the read/write head offset parameters of the 2 magnetic tracks, computing the read/write head offset parameters of the starting and ending tracks of each area, obtaining the read/write head offset-parameter-table and writing the read/write head offset-parameter-table into hard disk. Because the relation between read/write head offset parameters of magnetic tracks on hard disk and read/write head offset parameters of the starting and ending tracks of each area can be computed through geometric relations, when measuring, read/write head offset parameters of only 2 magnetic tracks need to be measured, namely, only needing 2 times of writing/reading, then obtaining read/write head offset parameters of the starting and ending tracks of each area after computing and the computing time in a computer is much shorter than that of read/write measurement of magnetic head. Applying this measurement method, only a few read/write operations are needed, so measurement time is saved.
