Title:
METHOD OF MEASURING HETEROGENOUS NCULEAR NIBONUCLEOPROTEIN B1 (hnRNP B1) mRNA
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/011667
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method of measuring heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein B1 (hnRNP B1) mRNA contained in a sample comprising: the step of using a first primer, which is homologous with at least a part of the 5’-terminal downstream of a specific base sequence of the RNA, and a second primer, which is complementary to at least a part of the 3’-terminal upstream of the specific base sequence as described above, (wherein at least one of the first and second primers has a promoter sequence at the 5’-terminus) and thus forming a double-stranded DNA having the promoter sequence and the specific base sequence in the downstream of the promoter sequence; the step of forming an RNA transcriptional product by using the double-stranded DNA as a template; the step of forming the above-described double-stranded DNA by successively using the RNA transcriptional product as a template for the DNA synthesis; the nucleic acid amplification step of repeating the above steps under such conditions as allowing the simultaneous proceed of the individual steps; and the step of measuring the amount of the RNA transcriptional product as described above.
