Abstract:
A method for obtaining the absolute spin number of unpaired electrons of a sample. The method comprises: testing first electron paramagnetic resonance signals of a spot-shaped sample at different positions in a resonant cavity to obtain a spatial distribution function of the resonant cavity; testing second electron paramagnetic resonance signal intensity of a calibration sample in the resonant cavity to obtain a correction factor of the resonant cavity; testing a third electron paramagnetic resonance signal, in the resonant cavity, of a sample to be tested, and performing quadratic integral on the third electron paramagnetic resonance signal to obtain a second quadratic integral area; and according to the volume of the sample to be tested, the second quadratic integral area, the electron spin quantum number, the spatial distribution function and the correction factor of the resonant cavity, and experiment setting parameters, obtaining the absolute spin number of the unpaired electrons of the sample to be tested. According to the method, the absolute spin number of the unpaired electrons of the sample to be tested can be determined without introducing a standard sample or a reference sample, without using an imaging device and without using the spot-shaped sample having the known spin number.
