Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for operating a plate system for stamping presses (10), according to which a carriage is displaced between the stamping tool (12) of the stamping press (10) and a take-over position in front of the stamping press (10). First connection elements (22,24) of the carriage (16) take hold of a plate (40) in the rear region, in the take-over position, in order to feed said plate gradually through the stamping press (10), according to the cycle of the stamping press, said connection elements (22,24) taking hold of the plate (40) exclusively from above, in a rear edge region between the rear edge and the surfaces to be stamped.
