Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for outputting audio, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method is applied to an electronic device with a proximity sensor. This method comprises: when the electronic device is connected to an audio output device and an audio signal is output, acquiring proximity data of the proximity sensor; when the proximity data satisfies a pre-set condition, an earpiece of the electronic device outputting the audio signal, and determining the type of audio output device; and according to the type of audio output device, determining whether the audio output device outputs the audio signal. It can be seen therefrom that, in the embodiments of the present invention, when an electronic device, such as a mobile phone, is connected to another audio output device, the earpiece is enabled to output an audio signal under a certain condition, thereby improving the user experience.
