Abstract:
A method for playing back a log on a data node, a data node, and a database system. The method is used for improving a log playback speed, and comprises: a data node obtains a plurality of logs, the plurality of logs comprising at least one transaction commitment log and at least one page operation log, wherein the at least one page operation log is played back by a first thread among a plurality of threads and all page operation logs comprising operations on a same page are played back by a same second thread, and therefore, the threads do not need to synchronize log playback progresses. Since the process of playing back the transaction commitment log by the first thread is independent from the process of playing back the at least one page operation log by at least one second thread, the threads do not need to synchronize log playback progresses. Therefore, a playback speed can further be quickened.
