Title:
METHOD OF POTENTIATING BIOLOIGCAL ACTIONS OF LIVING ORGANISM BEING IN CONTACT WITH AQUEOUS ENVIRONMENT AND/OR ENLARGING AREA SUITABLE FOR BIOLOGICAL ACTIONS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/110432
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
It is intended to provide a method of potentiating biological actions of a living organism (for example, an animal or a plant) being in contact with the aqueous environment and/or enlarging an area suitable for the biological actions. The above problem can be solved by establishing a method of potentiating biological actions of a living organism being in contact with the aqueous environment and/or enlarging an area suitable for the biological actions characterized by comprising making &agr ,&agr -trehalose and/or a saccharide derivative of &agr ,&agr -trehalose to coexist in the aqueous system with which the living organism is in contact; and a composition and an agent for potentiating biological actions of a living organism being in contact with the aqueous environment and/or enlarging an area suitable for the biological actions.
