Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for preparing 4-nitro-2-trifluoromethyl acetophenone and use thereof. The method prepares 4-nitro-2-trifluoromethyl acetophenone by means of reactions from a 4-nitro-2-trifluoromethyl halobenzene and a 2-cyanopropionate as the starting materials. Compared with the prior art, the method of the present invention features available starting materials, a high yield, and the absence of dangerous procedures.
