Abstract:
Provided is a method for preparing iron phosphate by using phosphorite and ferrous sulfate. The method comprises the following steps: 1) mixing and reacting phosphorite and phosphoric acid with water to obtain a pretreated phosphorite slurry; 2) mixing and reacting the pretreated phosphorite slurry with a ferrous sulfate solution, and performing filtration to obtain phosphogypsum and an iron-phosphorus mixed solution; and 3) adding ferrous sulfate and water to the iron-phosphorus mixed solution to obtain an iron-phosphorus solution with aniron ion concentration of 0.5-1.0 mol/L and a P/Fe molar ratio of 1.0-1.4, and then dropwise adding hydrogen peroxide, and performing heating and aging, filtration, and rinsing to obtain iron phosphate. Phosphorite is used as a phosphorus source in the method, which not only greatly reduces the cost of the phosphorus source in an iron phosphate process, and thus reduces the cost of raw materials for synthesizing iron phosphate, but also greatly improves the tap density of the iron phosphate.
