Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a thermoplastic resin, a thermoplastic resin prepared thereby, and a thermoplastic resin composition comprising same and, more specifically, to a thermoplastic resin, a composition comprising same, and the like, wherein the method for preparing a thermoplastic resin comprises the steps of: aggregating an emulsion polymerization latex with an acid; treating an aggregated slurry with a base, and then dehydrating same; and adding a metal salt and water to a dehydrated wet powder, thereby adjusting the pH thereof to 9 or higher, and thus the thermoplastic resin maintains high mechanical strength, thermal stability and appearance characteristics while having high productivity, and has excellent paint film adhesive strength and paint film appearance quality during painting.
