Abstract:
The present invention describes a method for obtaining micro biocapsules of one or more pyrethrins as an active substance and relates to the technical field of biopesticide production. Natural pyrethrin is a broad-spectrum insecticide extracted from the flowers of the plant of the genus Chrysanthemum and is easily broken down by air and light. The invention increases the stability of the pyrethrins, being effective for longer than other solutions in the prior art. The method and procedure comprise the following steps: a first step of preparing an oily phase; a second step of emulsifying the mixture; and a third step of encapsulation. The result is the production of pyrethrin micro biocapsules with a size of 0.5-5 microns, with greater stability. The process does not reduce the insecticide capacity of the pyrethins.
