Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a novel method for producing a 2'-carbamoylalkyl-modified nucleoside having a pyrimidine base. [Solution] Provided are: a method for producing a 2'-carbamoylalkyl-modified uridine compound, characterized in that an anhydrouridine compound and an amide compound having a protected or unprotected hydroxy group are reacted in the presence of a boron reagent and in a solvent such as an ether solvent; and a method for producing a 2'-carbamoylalkyl-modified cytidine compound, said method comprising a step for converting a uracil base of a 2'-carbamoylalkyl-modified uridine compound into a cytosine base.
