Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a color and/or effect giving lacquer coating on a primed or non-primed substrate by applying a color and/or effect giving aqueous one-coat covering lacquer or alternatively, a color and effect giving water-based lacquer and a clear lacquer (wet in wet process) to a substrate and hardening the resulting lacquer coatings, a) using a color and/or effect giving aqueous one-coat covering lacquer or water-based lacquer containing no metal wafer pigments resulting in a color and/or effect giving one-coat lacquer coating or water-based lacquer coating after hardening, having a water vapor permeability t delta 60 DEG C >6,0 mg/h *m*bar or delta 60 DEG C >286,4 g *100 mu /m<2>*d, wherein d designates the time unit day ; or (b) using an effect or color and effect giving aqueous one-coat covering lacquer or water-based lacquer containing metal wafer pigments, resulting in a color and/or effect giving one-coat lacquer coating or water-based lacquer coating after hardening, having a water vapor permeability delta 60 DEG C >4,0 mg/h*m*bar or delta 60 DEG C >190,92 g*100 mu m/m<2>*d.
