Abstract:

In this production method, an acid is reacted with a compound having an o-dipyrobenzene skeleton represented by formula (1) or formula (2) (In formulae (1) and (2), R1 to R8 denote identical or different arbitrary substituent groups. Furthermore, R1 and R2, R3 and R4, R5 and R6, R6 and R7, or R7 and R8 may bond to each other to form a cyclic structure). Consequently, an indolizino [3,4,5-ab] isoindole (INI) derivative in which arbitrary substituent groups are bonded to a phenyl group is synthesized.
