Abstract:
In one embodiment, the present invention provides a method wherein, with regard to a plurality of cells, all of the cells are not subcultured but a part thereof are screened so that a part of the cells can be selected on the basis of the screening result. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to a method for producing cultured cells, said method comprising: a) a step for culturing a plurality of animal cells or plant cells in a culture container by adhesion culture or on a semisolid culture medium to thereby form multiple colonies originated from a single cell; b) a step for, with regard to a part of the multiple colonies, detecting one or more base sequences in a nucleic acid by a nucleic acid- or protein-detection method, wherein the multiple colonies are cultured in the culture container during the detection period; and c) a step for selecting and collecting the part of the colonies on the basis of the detection result.
