Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a high-definition display device which has light detection function. A method for producing a display device, the method comprising: a first step wherein a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode are formed; a second step wherein a light receiving/emitting film is formed on the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode; a third step wherein a first sacrificial film, which covers the light receiving/emitting film, is formed; a fourth step wherein the first sacrificial film and the light receiving/emitting film are etched, thereby forming a light receiving/emitting layer and a first sacrificial layer on the light receiving/emitting layer, while exposing the second pixel electrode; a fifth step wherein an EL film is formed on the first sacrificial layer and the second pixel electrode; a sixth step wherein a second sacrificial film, which covers the EL film, is formed; a seventh step wherein the second sacrificial film and the EL film are etched, thereby forming an EL layer and a second sacrificial layer on the EL layer; an eighth step wherein the first sacrificial layer and the second sacrificial layer are removed, while exposing the light receiving/emitting layer and the EL layer; and a ninth step wherein a common electrode, which covers the light receiving/emitting layer and the EL layer, is formed.
