Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a novel display device. The method for producing the display device includes: a step for forming an anode, a first EL layer, a first cathode, and a first layer in this order; a step for forming a first resist mask on the first layer; a step for selectively removing a portion from each of the anode, the first EL layer, the first cathode, and the first layer; a step for removing a portion of the first resist mask; a step for selectively removing another portion from each of the first EL layer, the first cathode, and the first layer; and a step for removing the first resist mask. The first resist mask is a multi-gradation mask.
