Abstract:
Provided is a method in which, even if boric acid is not used, a granulated body can be produced without complicating the production process. A method for producing a glass raw material granulated body has a step of granulating, in the presence of water, a glass raw material composition (A) which contains 45-75 mass % of silica, 3-30 mass % of aluminum hydroxide, and 0.4-4.6 mass % of an alkali metal hydroxide.
