A method for producing a glass sheet with a ceramic colored layer which involves forming, on the glass sheet (1), a laminate (4) comprising a colored layer (2) containing a low melting point glass powder and a heat−resistant pigment powder and contacting with the glass sheet and a releasing layer (3) containing a low melting point glass powder, followed by firing, wherein the low melting point glass powder in the colored layer (2) has a Bi₂O₃&sol SiO₂ mole ratio of 0.275 or less, and the low melting point glass powder in the releasing layer (3) contains SiO₂ and Bi₂O₃ in a Bi₂O₃&sol SiO₂ mole ratio of more than 0.275 and precipitates crystals when it is fired as described above.
